  1. 24/7. Meaning: all the time, always available, without a break.
    • Example:

  2. Rookie. Meaning: a beginner; one who is new to a profession or field.
    • Example:
      • He’s a rookie in basketball.
  3. Not my cup of tea. Meaning: something not to your liking or you don’t like to do.
    • Example:
      • Art is not my cup of tea.
  4. Peace out. Meaning: a friendly way to say goodbye.
    • Example:
      • Peace out, guys. I’m logging out.
  5. Hit the road. Meaning: to leave; to go home.
    • Example:
      • It’s getting late, I’m gonna hit the road.
  6. Idiot box. Meaning: a television.
    • Example:

Apakah kalian tahu perbedaan antara ‘pardon‘, ‘sorry‘, danexcuse me‘? Mari kita bahas sedikit tentang perbedaan penggunaannya.

Ketika kamu melakukan sesuatu yang salah atau tidak sopan, seperti mendorong atau menginjak kaki seseorang, kamu mengatakan ‘sorry‘.

Ketika kamu harus melakukan sesuatu yang sedikit tidak sopan, seperti menginterupsi, bersin, berjalan melewati banyak orang, kamu mengatakan excuse me.

Ketika kamu tidak bisa mendengar apa yang orang lain katakan, atau kamu ingin mereka mengulangi perkataannya, kamu mengatakan ‘Sorry?. Selain itu, kamu juga bisa mengatakan ‘Excuse me?‘ atau ‘I beg your pardon?‘ atau ‘Pardon me?‘ atau Pardon?.
