  1. STATIONARY VS STATIONERY

STATIONARY: having a fixed position; not moving.

stationary scouts shifted only when necessary.

STATIONERY: writing materials such as paper.

I like to arrange my stationary by its color order.

 

  1. DESERT VS DESSERT

DESERT: to abandon(verb); a wasteland (noun)

He deserts me in the Sahara Desert.

DESSERT: sweet meal, such as cake or ice cream.

I love dessert as much as I love you :p

  1. CITE VS SITE VS SIGHT

Cite: to quote or mention something.

He cited a line of my favorite book on the love letter

Site: the position or location of something.

Ranu Kumbolo is the best camping site in Mt. Semeru

Sight: A view; glimpse

The sight of Jakarta skyline is spectacular at night.
