Hello hello, fellas. How are you on this Sunday? :)

Do you know what is the menu for today’s session, fellas? It will be #IOTW. Oh, wait. I bet some of you don’t know what #IOTW stands for. I let you know what it is. #IOTW = Idiom Of The Week. Today’s session, #IOTW, will be related to animals. So, let’s start it! :D

1. Ants in one’s pants. Meaning: very restless or excited about something.
   • Example:
     • “John’s got ants in his pants after he heard about the news.”
2.  For the birds. Meaning: uninteresting or useless.
   • Example:
     • “In my humble opinion, Billy Sheehan’s idea is for the birds.“
3.  Bitten by the bug. Meaning: a sudden enthusiasm for something.
   • Example:
     • ” Jimmy Page was bitten by the bug when he decided to take up engineering.”
4. Snake in the grass. Meaning: a deceitful or treacherous person, especially one who feigns friendship.
   • Example:
     • “James Taylor thought he could trust his manager but she turned out to be a snake in the grass.”
5. Bee in one’s bonnet. Meaning: an idea which constantly occupies someone’s thoughts.
   • Example:
     • “Robert Plant’s got a bee in his bonnet about moving to Holloway.”
6. Wild goose chase. Meaning: a futile pursuit.
   • Example:
     • “Andrea Corr tried to find out who sent the anonymous letter but it was a wild goose chase.”
7. Other fish to fry. Meaning: other matters to do.
   • Example:
     • ” Eric Martin cannot attend the party; he’s got other fish to fry.”
8. Eat crow. Meaning: to admit that one was wrong.
   • Example:
     • “Paul Gilbert had no option but to eat crow about his theory to the students.”
