#EngTips: greeting people we haven’t seen for a long time

There are many ways of greeting people that we haven’t seen for a long time, both formal and informal. Here are some of the examples.

  • Formal:
  1. “What have you been up to all these years?”
  2. “I’m so happy to see you again.”
  3. “It has been a long time.”
  • Informal:
  1. “Long time no see.”
  2. “How come I never see you?”
  3. “Where have you been hiding?”
  4. “It’s been ages since we last met.”
